The Fraunhofer Resource Grid (FhRG) constitutes the Computing Grid infrastructure of the Fraunhofer Society and is operated by the Fraunhofer Alliance Grid Computing.
The primary task of the Fraunhofer Resource Grid is to provide an infrastructure of distributed, powerful IT resources, applications, services and data to the institutes of the Fraunhofer Society.

On top of that the FhRG offers the opportunity to demonstrate Grid, SOA and virtualization technologies to industrial and scientific partners in practice.

Upon request the infrastructure and services of the FhRG can be used commercially in the context of Enterprise Grids, which is our offer for SMEs and industry.
